Hello, everyone! My friend made an AMV for Fakir. She chose a Chinese Song as the music called Don Quixote, sung by F.I.R.
Her AMV impressed me so much that I decided to translate the lyrcis to English. I also handed it to my professor to see whether the words were precise.

Please remember to open the annotation at the bottom of video and you could read the English lyrics while watching the AMV.

I've been making this one AMV for a while but it feels kind of bland to me and I'm having a hard time deciding which clips to use and stuff. I've gotten 2 mins in but I'm not sure where to go from there and I'm wondering if anyone wants to take it over and help me work on it? You'd be free to change the parts I've done already if you think a different clip would work better. The song is Retrace by Anberlin. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you what I have so far! (Oh and btw it's a Fakiru vid)

First AMV!

I just finished my first AMV--Princess Tutu, of course--and I thought I'd share. I used "Transformation" from the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, and of course it's mostly Fakiru. ^___^

MEP anyone?

I was wondering if anyone would like to participate in an MEP for the anniversary? A few years ago the scorpions released a CD on which they play with the berlin philharmonia orchestra

there are also two awesome instrumental pieces on it (which can actually be put together)

I wanted to make a PT amv with these for a while but I really got scarred off by the length of the songs (it's about 13 min together)

so yeah would anyone be interested? This isn't about being good at editing but more for fun and also to celebrate the anniversary

Come on, the music is awesome, right?

Hi all,

I've recently started watching this series and am thinking about making an amv. Only problem is I don't have any episodes! I've spent so long looking my eyes are sore so I'd be very grateful if someone could lend me a hand in trying to find some ddls. Specifically I'm looking for episodes which are:

- Raw or english dubbed ( ie no subs)
- MP4 (preferably) or avi format
- good quality (doesn't have to be high def, just good enough quality to make masking easy)

Thanks in advance!

I'm curious about it and I don't have the DVD. So please tell me whether the trailer has the English subtitle if anyone has the DVD.
If it has, please give me the complete one, for my friends and I are discussing the meaning of the trailer and we want to translate it to Chinese.

A Princess Tutu music video set to the music from Bethesda's new video game, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This was a fun project that didn't take very long at all. The track is "Dragonborn," and-- if you are familiar with the game at all-- it features in the trailer as well as whenever a dragon appears to your character and is in need of slaying.

I'd like to thank dark_puck who gave me the Raven-battle idea components that make up this video.

Hey there! Here is an AMV I just finished~ It doesn't really focus on a particular pairing or anything, it's kind of just something I started a while ago and decided to finish as a present for my subscribers. XD But even though it's sorta random, I hope you enjoy it~!

[identity profile] nuitsongeur.livejournal.com
I was playing around with this project in the summer, but had to abandon it once school started.  For the most part, I'd all but forgotten until I browsed through my files and saw it again.  So, I worked on it some more, then had to abandon the last minute of it because of finals.  Then I had to pinch hit for someone on [livejournal.com profile] atlasecretsanta, and the giftee in question was a fan of Princess Tutu, so I completed the video as a gift to them.  The video is gen-- not really any sort of tribute to any specific pairing (except for the pas de deux's already present on the show).  Also, I should note that this entire project was to.. test the effects I could use in Sony Vegas.  Some of them are cool, I think, some of them are not.  There is one particular effect that went horribly wrong in the rendering/publishing process (which you'll see in the Giselle bits), and I was too pressed for time to change it.

So, anyway, I know that this comm didn't hold a secret santa of their own this year, so I hope everyone can enjoy this video as a Christmas present from me to my fellow fans. ^_^  Enjoy~

Eep I haven't been on here in forever. o_o;
Anyway, I made a random video for my friend, and I thought I'd post it here as well since all the clips I used were from Princess Tutu. Enjoy~! XD

Oh, wow, it's been a while, hasn't it?

First, an apology... I put up a post asking for requests early in the summer (like... June, ohgosh), and... my writing muses continued being uncooperative, I guess. A few of them are done, and I would still like to do them, if people want. I have the list, and things seem to have been smoother lately. However, I'm very sorry for the awful delay!

I guess the most important thing is that my slump seems to have come to an end, for now. So, of those requests, I have:

[livejournal.com profile] mangaka_chan's prompt: "Fakir and Ahiru are having a baby but the question arises: since Ahiru was a bird, does that mean she'll lay an egg? Fluff and crack plot line ahoy!" It's here at ff.net.

And [livejournal.com profile] serika_san's prompt: "Mytho nursing a sick Rue back to health, even though she insists that she's fine and doesn't need to be babied." Also here on ff.net.

And some other stuff, as well~

A few updates to a collection of Rue/Mytho drabbles, here on ff.net.

Also, some new ones!
Title: Impromptu
Rating: K
Pairing/Subject: Mytho/Rue, fluff
Summary: A day at the festival cannot be completed without dancing, of course.

Here on ff.net.

Title: New Favorites
Rating: M
Pairing/Subject: Mytho/Rue, fairly mild smut. About as fluffy as smut can get, I guess, but be warned.
Summary: It's always a thrill to learn the steps to a new dance, after all.

Here on ff.net.

And a few AMVs below the cut~ )

I'm not entirely sure this is PT enough to post here, but I'm assuming most or all of you know the famous Håll om Mig amv, so...

I love love love this song, and I also love "translating" songs from other languages, so here is my English version of Nanne's Håll om Mig.

Listen here!

*returns from an extremely extended leave of absence...* Ok, when was the last time I made a post in this community?! XD Besides my Help Japan auction alert...well, seeing the news about the Fakiru week prompts I was motivated to join in and considered doing all the prompts...but none of them fit what I was capable of doing with amvs so I just chose one; the last one Love.

Hello, everyone!  Sorry to bother you, but I'd like to ask for some help from just one of you-- and I know from experience that the Princess Tutu fandom is generally very helpful.

I'm hosting a MEP to P!nk's song "U + Ur Hand."  And, I have only one part left-- so I was wondering if there were any PT vidders that would be interested in taking part?  The only requirements is that you claim a pairing that hasn't already been claimed.  In this case, the only other PT pairing that's been claimed is Rue/Fakir-- so there's certainly other pairings left to claim!

If you're interested in Part 3-- just comment this entry with the pairing and your Youtube name and I'll get the parts ready to send you.  (Here's the official sign-up video). First come, first serve.

Thank you!

Let me start off by saying... This is probably just one HUGE mass of coincidences, but it had so much similarity and so much potential to be discussed that I couldn't help but want to share it with you guys!

Also, let me warn for EXTENSIVE MOTHER 3 SPOILERS (if you don't know of the game and never plan to play it, no worries).

Anyway, this started when I was watching a Let's Play of Mother 3 (a Japanese game that was fan-translated but never released in the USA) recently and got to a certain part today that absolutely made my jaw drop and my mind go haywire. Up to that point, I was comparing the game and PT in small ways (as I find myself always looking for potential similarities to PT in things I watch/do), but this just... whoa.

Have an open and mind and want to see what shocked me so much? Follow the cut below.

Princess Tutu and Mother 3 - How are they scarily alike? )
[identity profile] dream-librarian.livejournal.com

I was so surprised this hasn't been done yet, it's so obvious XD Well at least I had fun making it. A lot of fun.
For those of you who don't know this is a trailer parody of Stranger than Fiction.

[identity profile] quietsymphony.livejournal.com
I just finished this -- it's a Fakir/Ahiru video set to "I See The Light" from Tangled. I had to re-pitch the song, though; hopefully that's not too distracting. ^^; Enjoy~!

I'm taking a general consensus here because the idea crossed my mind a few weeks ago. I'm sure some of you may remember the last AMV contest I hosted, and how it was around this time of year. So, who would be interested in another one this year? I'll have to take a different approach to prizes--- ie, personalized banners--- and I'm thinking a new system of judging. Also, I have a new idea for themes---

1) instrumentals
2) trailers
3) music before the year 2000

So, any ideas? Do you like these themes, if any?  Also, on judging, if anyone who might participate, would you rather a point system by a certain number of judges, like last year, or would you rather a popular vote through LiveJournal, or something?  Any ideas, comments, feedback?  Suggestions?  Criticisms, to the way things went last year?  Comment please! <3

Also, should I decide to host another AMV contest, it start around the beginning-middle of June and end on September 30th, like last year! :D
