tutufans | Fanart - Raven!Fakir and Ahiru

My apologies for the double post. I'm having another one of those activity bursts. >>; ~~Gosh, and I'll have icons soon and the final batch of AMV links soon, too.~~

Anyhow, you might remember a sketch post I did rather recently. Well, I've colored the fourth one from that post (the Raven!Fakir and Ahiru embrace concept), as I said it would be the first to be inked and colored. And I'm posting it here to share~

Warnings: None, content-wise. I guess it looks a little angsty on Ahiru's part? Annnnd it's an embrace picture of sorts, so you could consider it shippy, as well. If you don't like them paired, I'd suggest not clicking the cut.

I'm generally pretty happy with how this turned out. I think the sketch might have looked a little better in some ways (such as for the hands), but it was an interesting pose attempt to color. And for this piece, I thought a background of some sort would really add to the feel of it, and since I believe the plain white took away from it, I went with darker colors. I think the thing I'm the most displeased with his Ahiru's outfit. I really need to work on clothing, lol. I tried many different colors for her dress and ribbons, but ended up sticking with the light blue, since I think it looked the best.

Fakir's concept is my version of Raven!Fakir, who is the 'raven-ized' version of him that seems to be growing more popular in the fandom lately. (He's been popular in Japanese fandom for some time, though.)
