PT AMV Made by a Fan from Taiwan- Don Quixote

Hello, everyone! My friend made an AMV for Fakir. She chose a Chinese Song as the music called Don Quixote, sung by F.I.R.
Her AMV impressed me so much that I decided to translate the lyrcis to English. I also handed it to my professor to see whether the words were precise.

Geekery Part Deux (For the PT 10th Anniversary)

When, exactly, do the events of “Princess Tutu” take place? Depending on which fanfic you read or which fanart you view, it could be anywhere between the turn of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st.

However, I believe that there are enough clues, both shown and implied, that the likely general timeframe of “Princess Tutu” can be extrapolated to a single 25-year period.

Number crunching, refusal to disassociate reality from fiction, doubling back on scholarly paths, and boatloads of overthinking ahead!

Princess Tutu, crows, and real life

Earlier this year, there were news articles about a giant crow population in Rochester, NY, particularly at one of the old churches. Apparently thousands of crows like to roost in the old trees by the church and even though the birds themselves are interesting...the giant mess they make is not. Later on, the city ended up cutting down the old trees and tried to break the crows up into smaller groups using noisemakers.

I'll admit, while I read the news I started thinking, "What on earth are the raven king and his groupies doing there?" Hopefully it's not Drosselmeyer writing another story!

So, random question.

I'm trying to find a screenshot of when Mr. Cat rejects Ms. Goatette, but I have no idea which episode that's in. If someone could tell me, I'd really appreciate it. I think it's in the second season, but I could be wrong. If you just tell me which episode it is I can make my own screenshot, but I'd rather ask than skim through each episode.

Summary: The truth isn't always what we expect or what we can easily accept, but a story's birth is a new beginning. Accept your role? Defy it? A choice must be made, for the phoenix has risen, but darkness looms on the horizon. - Princess Tutu/Mother3 Crossover<

Genre: Adventure/Romance

Word Count: 6,256 (Prologue + Chapter One)

Rating: PG-13 for eventual violence, etc.

Warnings: Just a typical warning for cross-over elements. Also, I'm going to be taking a lot of unexpected twists with this, in terms of Kinkan Town post-series, the role of the story-spinners, the Oak Tree, etc.

Notes: This is pretty much my first real attempt at a cross-over fic, but I couldn't resist trying it out after I saw all the interesting similarities between the two and started brain-storming about how they could connect and a way I could weave a new story out of it. I also think that the character interactions between PT and Mother 3 will be really fun. I'm putting a lot of plot elements into this, too, so I hope people will be able to follow the progression and how everything ties together.

Dollmakers -- RPG sprite and Disney style?!

I was fooling around on various dollmaker-type thingies, and I finally got around to uploading the screencaps I collected of them to amuse people with! XD;; One of them is RPG Sprites, and the other is a Disney Princess generator, and so the guys are basically female versions of themselves XD;; (Though, I tried to keep their designs otherwise the same)

Chapter one of my new fanfic

A week or two ago I posted the prologue to my new fanfic, "Fairytale Endings". I've written the first chapter and posted it on fanfiction.net!

Summary: Life is normal in Kinkan for Duck and Fakir, at least until Fakir begins writing a story. Kind of a vague summary.

Crack: Charon's Bachelor Pad

Sooooooooo, I was thinking how Charon is a pretty good-looking fellow, hard-working, seemed like a nice guy, and even had a romantic admirer. Why was he a bachelor throughout the entire series, even in the flashbacks? Well, it can't be easy to live a normal life with Fakir and Mytho as your adopted sons...

These are just crack snippets of poor Charon's failed attempts wooing women, as Mytho and Fakir scare off all his dates with their weird problems.
