Questions on clips...

Does anyone know how to block out subtitles on clips? I was thinking about making a Princess Tutu Abridged Series, but I don't own the DVDs, and I don't want the videos to be filled with the subs...

By the way- if I do make an abridged series, should I use Ahiru or Duck for the name? Ahiru is more familiar with fans, but Duck makes more sense in jokes...

Edit: I know I should buy the DVDs, I would love to buy the DVDs, but they aren't sold anywhere that I've looked or asked. I couldn't even find them at Anime Boston! I'd buy them on the internet, but they are really expensive, not to mention shipping... I'm waiting for a box set- I don't mean to be cheap, but I only get five dollars a week... (Is there one? I haven't heard anything, but I tend to be sort of slow in matters of news.)
