I've been rather quiet on the amv front for a while now, but I finished one for the person I was secret santa for, and I thought I'd post it here to share with everyone! This was a Tutu Hell for [livejournal.com profile] kerorokero and it consists of several short segments that are intended to be humorous~

As a warning, some of the content could possibly be considered offensive, it has strong language...and it's pure craaaaaaack, so viewer discretion is advised. So complaints on that front will be blinked at curiously. o,o And also, a few of them are inside jokes or things inspired from the RP comms [livejournal.com profile] polychromatic and [livejournal.com profile] sortinghat_rp but hopefully you can get most of it.

If you're still okay with some pure crackliciousness...8D

I'm currently working on the 2008 con season version of my anime music panel, and it got me thinking...there are a few series, like Tutu, that incorporate already-written music into their plots and a few that use classical music both obscure and well-known, but Princess Tutu is the only anime series I can think of where the entire path of the series is written AROUND the music, not just including it. A friend of mine was asking why I give Tutu precedence over Nodame Cantabile in that segment of my panel, and I finally realized why. And I think, for me, that's one of the most magical pieces about this show...there is so much it has going for it, for sure, but at the same time as a serious music person the fact that the writers were able to construct an original story that also follows a good dozen and a half already-written storylines in order to incorporate the music they wanted to in the way they wanted to just blows me away every time.

So what about you all? What are some of the aspects of Princess Tutu that you think really makes the series stand out from the crowd?
