Minor Observation/Epiphany

So I was making a Princess Tutu deck for
tcg_exchange, featuring pictures of dance scenes. I had made a card for Piqué's Heart Maiden Dance, when I noticed I didn't have a dance scene, per se, for Lilié. This made me consciously realize something I never really noticed before:
Lilié is never targeted as having a pure heart.
Am I the only one who completely missed this fact, and is now fascinated by the implications? Or has this been brought up before, and I'm just slow on the uptake? Is anyone else also now fondly thinking of glittery pink AK-47s?
I am not sure why, exactly, but it blows my mind... and deepens her character a bit. What I mean is that Lilié's character now serves as more of a foil to the main characters, and makes the secondary characters more three-dimensional-- not everyone is a storybook-perfect "pure-hearted" person. Notably, it is possible for someone who is not pure of heart to avoid being a tool of evil. "Imperfect/impure" =/= "evil". It's a mundane example of how the taint of the Raven's blood doesn't have to doom Rue (and Mytho) to a lifetime of evil.
Interestingly, Lilié also never questions or doubts herself. She has enough self-confidence (or is it self-preservation instinct?) to refrain from making doomsday predictions for herself. It's an interesting combination of values, now that I think of it.
Ah, so I guess this is a call to analyze our dear sadistic optimist.♥
EDIT: Discussion has turned to the underlying mechanics/ethics of the series-- What defines purity of heart? What does this imply about the characters? What message does the show send about the ethics of selflessness versus selfishness?
