I was directed here by fellow Princess Tutu cosplayer. She said I should post some pictures up of our Princess Tutu cosplay that we debuted a weekend ago at AWA 2009.

Everything you see we made on the costumes, and we both spent about 500+ hours on each costume. Some of the details don't show up in photos, but these are about the best thing we have that match the original costumes details.

Hope you all enjoy them. We loved making them, but were even more happy to wear them! If you have any constructive criticism please let us know. (i.e. my arms and hands should be less floppy. XP)

If you click it it will take you to the picture on DeviantArt, in case you are into that kind of thing.

I HOPE WE CAN ALL BE FRIENDS OR WHATEVER.

Okay, so lately I've been doing this kind of AMVs where I take instrumentals from animated movies that I love, and use them in a video to accompany a part of the Tutu storyline. The ones I've done before this had music from The Lion King and Tarzan, and this one has music from the Fox film Anastasia ("Reminiscing with Grandma" is the name of the track). Unfortunately, apparently the soundtrack was licensed by a certain Atlantic Recording Corporation, which is owned by (you guessed it) WMG, the big bad king of Youtube copyright complaints. So I was unable to post it to Youtube, which broke my heart as I took a long time and loved working on this...and to make myself feel better, I am now posting it courtesy of Yahoo video for you all to see! Here's the original description I wrote for it, to help you get the frame of mind for this video...I hope you enjoy~!

While brainstorming more instrumental videos, I decided that this track from the movie Anastasia would make a very lovely video that chronicles not only the series' finale but also an AU ending where afterwards Fakir starts to contemplate writing a story for Ahiru, to return her to the way she was when she was happy. Although he did say that Ahiru and he should return to their true selves, I've always felt that as they were able to overcome so much by surpassing their roles and defeating their tragic fates that Ahiru should be able to surpass her fate of being a duck forever and be human again with Fakir's help, especially as Fakir surpassed his fate of dying uselessly with Ahiru's help. Interestingly, in my fanfiction 'Swanheart', I used this same piece to accompany Fakir's decision to change Ahiru back into a girl as part of the story, so I was really happy to use it for a video project.
