Well, I ended up taking a seven-month-or-so hiatus from it by accident. XD;; But! I'm finally back with a new chapter, so I thought I'd share here, if anyone's still interested~
Title: The Heart of Everything
Rating: PG-13/T
Summary: As a ravaged kingdom suffers under vicious ravens, the one hope withstanding is the awaited marriage between Ahiru and Mytho, two young royals whose union will bring peace, according to an immortal man’s prophecy. However, when curses abound, mistakes are realized, and villains appear, the promise of freedom threatens to crumble. Is a happily ever after in store? Or maybe... The next few moments were little more than a blur to Ahiru. She knew what was going to happen, knew there was no way out this time, but still, she shut her eyes tight, desperately willing her body to stay the same, only for a few more moments, just a little longer. Despite her best efforts, however, there was the same rush of familiar sensations, -- dizziness, warmth, pain -- overtaking her with ease. The pull of gravity took effect as she grew heavier. She heard the sound of someone catching their breath, felt a stiff arm instinctively wrap under her legs so as to catch her, and then --
