So, what do you think would have happened if Autor had indeed been the one to write instead of Fakir, or if he tries to do it after the series? I always had the impression that he was not acknowledged as the one with the qualifications because it was felt that Fakir had more mental strength and that Autor would not be able to control the story and it would control him instead, perhaps down an ill road. I keep having this image of him ending up corrupted in his attempt to write, even if he initially has and wants the power to use for good.
(Of course, the story was arguably controlling Fakir too, since he could not seem to control what he was writing during the climax....)
