This is a rather meager contribution but upon realizing that I hadn't drawn any Princess Tutu fanart despite being a huge fan of it, I uh, immediately set about rectifying that. Anyway, here are some sketchbook pages of Fakir ^^

So! :D I wrote this for my creative writing class and it was heavily inspired by Tutu so I thought I'd share!

We had an assignment to make the first letter of each sentence the letters of the alphabet. I decided I wanted to write a fairy tale, but then I was like "How can I start a fairy tale without 'Once upon a time'?" and then I remembered that I'd asked my Japanese teacher what Mukashi Mukashi actually meant and she said 'A long, long time ago", which made me think of Tutu and the rest is history. ;D

Autor AMVs?

AMVs! Does anyone know any good AMVs that either center around Autor or feature him in kind of an ensemble thing? First, here's what I've found (and I hope I've typed these in right):

Dead Boy's Poem, focusing on both Autor and Fakir. Amazing AMV, and now I can't stop associating this song with them (moreso with Autor).

Out of My League, unrequited Autor/Rue.

One Last Hope, hilarious and excellently-timed nonsense with the song from Hercules. It actually really works! LOL.

Dreaming With a Broken Heart More unrequited Autor/Rue.

Hallelujah, a version that has Autor playing the song and features him and Rue at the beginning.

The Scarlet Pimpernel, more silliness, this time as Femio tries to convince the whole cast that he's the song's title character.

I have also seen the Good Boys Never Win AMV, and while I liked the concept, the fact that the AMV maker turned it into him talking to Rue (as evidenced by his subtitles) kind of ruined my enjoyment of it. XD;

So! Does anyone have anything else to add to this list? I should note that I really only support the canon pairings, so I'm not too interested in fanon pairing AMVs, and above all, I prefer Gen AMVs where Autor is concerned. But if there's some exceptional fanon pairing AMV out there, I would probably still be willing to check it out because I wanna see more of Autor in AMVs. XD;

Baby-cosplayer questions?

Um, hi? ^.^; Inexperienced lurker here!

So recently, I corrupted a friend of mine into the Cult of Tutu. (Ctutu? I have no idea.) Anyway, being the freaks that we are, we have devised a plan. This plan is long and involves a lot of scissors and hair dye, but... we're going to be cosplaying as Rue and Ahiru sometime this summer! =D (This is assuming we can scrape up the funds to go somewhere. I'm guessing we're at the younger end of the Tutu fan spectrum, so we really depend on others [read: parental units] to transport us.)

Anyway. Since this is going to be the first cosplay for both of us, we want to make it the best we can, even though we're not all that skilled. So I'm here to ask... would any experienced Ahiru or Rue cosplayers be so kind as to offer tips and such? ^.^; Like I said, we're pretty young and we don't know anything about this stuff so much as we're running on instinct.

Specifically, my friend (playing Ahiru) has a query about Ahiru's hairsprig, and how that can stay up; and basically questions about where to find a good wig for cosplaying and such. I (playing Rue) am looking for any help on where to find red contact lenses. And we're both looking for tips on how to make the Gold Crown uniforms. What materials would you suggest? What places have you found helpful? (Do you have any extra female uniforms you'd be willing to part with?)

... Sorry if this isn't allowed, mods, but from what I've seen I thought this place might be helpful for this kind of thing? =D
