What the heck do the guys wear around their necks at the academy? I know I've seen the scarf-things described as ascots, but after looking up pictures of ascots, that doesn't seem right at all. Ascots seem to always be straight and wide and come to points. They look like fat ties, LOL. The ruffled, pleated things the guys wear look more like some pictures I saw of cravats, only without the lace. **headdesk.**
