There have been a lot of lovely fanworks shared here as of late. I'll just add to the pile.

Very Autor centric, if you're into that sort of thing.

Title/Theme: Emotional Motion
Series: Princess Tutu
Rating: PG-13 (Safety.)
Word count: 7,188.
Summary: Autor isn't satisfied with anything, which hardly differs from the norm. AU set in a post-series college environment.
Finished: August 6, 2010. 12:30 p.m.
Disclaimer: This is a fan-made story for nonprofit use. Princess Tutu is the property of Ito Ikuko, animation studio Hal Film Maker, and ADV films.

This cut, it is so fake.

I'm posting two today, so I don't clog up the community.  Would you guys rather I posted them all in sets of two, or more than a few days apart from each other, or less, or what?  I don't want to be a nuisance, but they oneshots get pretty long, and they're so different I can't lop them together in one big post.

Song: Ces diamants-la
Artists: Patrick Fiori and Julie Zenatti
Album: Notre Dame De Paris soundtrack, original French
Focus: Fakir/Rue/Mytho
Scenario: Preseries
Rating: PG (K+)
Warnings: Slight sexual tension, implied love triangle, crack pairing
Notes: The first part of the series I wrote, so it's less out-there than others.  But it's the only one with a "crack" pairing.  The song itself, if you listen to it, sounds like a straight-up love song about an engagement, but there's a darker quality to the music that suggests their relationship isn't so wonderful.

Rue tells Mytho they're engaged.  When Fakir hears of this, he sets out to give her a piece of his mind and show her how wrong it is to claim other people.

Song: Make Damn Sure
Artist: Taking Back Sunday
Album: Louder Now
Focus: Fakir and Mytho
Scenario:
During series
Rating: G (K+)
Warnings: Slight manhandling, one mention by name of the fiery pit, nothing not in the series.
Notes: I love writing about the relationship between Fakir and Mytho, and I've always associated the song with them. This is a scene that takes place neatly in-series, and is basically a more emotional extension of one of Fakir's pushing-Mytho-around scenes.

Mytho can feel the sunlight's warmth now.  Soon, he will be breakable.  Fakir tries to teach him what will happen then.
