As a lot of people here seemed to enjoy the trailer of The Black Swan, I thought I'd share a clip from another ballet-centric film: Anna Pavlova (a Russian-language biopic based on the life of legendary ballerina). I don't have any trailers this time to give a feel for the entire film, but I found a lovely clip portraying her dance of the Dying Swan (the orchestration is a bit over-the-top imho, but it's still very powerful and beautifully filmed). Also, I'm madly in love with her tutu - it looks sooo soft and absolutely gorgeous, and every time I watch this clips, I wish I could reach through the screen and touch it. Anyway, I really like this, and hope you guys enjoy it too! <3
In the next few weeks, I definitely plan to post a clip of the real Anna Pavlova dancing The Dying Swan, as well as a few other famous interpretations, like Maya Plisetskaya, as well as many other interesting and PT-relevant ballet clips! I hope it'll interest a few of you! ^_^
