I meant to do this about six months ago, but I'm rather glad I waited.

Despite the username, I've made a Princess Tutu costume. And I now have some pictures of it.

[livejournal.com profile] calchandler (who is working on Kraehe) made the wig, and [livejournal.com profile] geckoman (who is making DROSSELMEYER!!!!!) did the majority of the work on the pendant, although I did some of the painting and sculpting.

Front View: You can see that, as I can't go on pointe, I'm using flat shoes.

Side View: The dress originally had straps. I cut and re-hemmed and attached one transparent strap halter-style to hold it up. You can also see that I didn't bother to tuck in the ribbons on my shoes for this set of photos. -_-;

Wig Closeup: Please ignore my personal ugliness -- there wasn't time for makeup.

Pendant Closeup: The chain isn't exact, but looks good from a distance.

Wig Test: [livejournal.com profile] calchandler requested that I do this, to prove just how resilient the wig is. It's delicate when you're not wearing it, but when it's on your head, it's like a rock. This also shows that the pendant is fairly resilient, too. ^^; Little bit of digital remnant in this one, since I'm currently working off a borrowed computer that isn't too great.

Once we've got our group together, I hope to post more pictures. I've seen the Kraehe wig in progress, and it's amazing. We're hoping to have a group together at Nekocon.
