Friendly inquiry.

Hi all. I could use some advice. (Primarily from those of you who own one of the Princess Tutu boxsets!)

My friend's birthday is on the 15th, and I was thinking of buying her the Tutu boxset as a gift. When I went to Amazon to look up prices, I noticed that they'll be re-releasing the boxset (This is proabaly old news, forgive me.)

This got me really curious. Is there any known difference between these boxsets besides the cover art? I mean, are there more special features or something? o_o

The current one is selling as low as $29.58, but I don't know what features it holds. The new one won't be available 'till the 21st, and costs $40.49. But if it has better features...should I pre-order it?

I guess what I'm really trying to ask is this:
1. To those of you who have the current boxset, what features do the dvds hold? Are they pretty much the same as the regular dvds, just in a box instead of individual cases?
2. Is there any news on this new boxset and the features that it holds, or can we assume it will be pretty much the same?
And finally, depending on the above answers,
3. Which one should I buy for her?
