So my new daily drawing exercise that I call 'Doodle-a-day' has given my drawing muse some much needed spirit - and apparently a heck of a lot of inspiration to go with it!
I've been a busy little bee, between RPing and sketching up a storm. And thus I have a bunch of new arts to share! (Almost all are just sketches, this time around.)
No warnings whatsoever. Barely even anything pairing-oriented this time, unless you count Femio/Lillie. Hehehe.

I'll start with the only colored piece of the set - which is werewolf!Fakir. (But obviously not in wolf form here.) He's a DR character I picked up recently and this is the kind of run-down/rugged image I had for him in my mind. He's even MORE of a recluse than canon!Fakir (for many reasons), very much a hermit, and in his AU setting only knows one of the other PT characters. You can check out his profile here, if you're curious: lunar_recluse

And now start the sketches! ...This one is actually sort of a request that I got on deviantart: to draw Ahiru with shorter, shoulder-length hair. I also ended up drawing her older here. She does look a bit more mature like that, though!

And some typical Fakir. He really must be such a pain to put up with sometimes. >>; Anyway, please ignore my terrible penmanship.

And now start the line of chibis! (Yes, most of these drawings are chibis. I was in such a chibi-drawing mood. XD;) Anyway, this was a random little fairy!Ahiru. It's probably a ballet costume for something. I'm sorry if the hands and arms look really weird. I'm trying to work with different posing lately to add some... extra bits to my art and expand a little more from what I'm comfortable with. Anyway, I'm actually pretty happy with how her outfit turned out! Usually clothes are a big pain for me, but this one was really fun to make.

And now starts a series of chibis that all follow a theme! ...But you wouldn't be able to tell unless you know what Ragnarok Online is. ^^; ANYWAY. This is Assassin Fakir. Yes, I know I should have made him a knight, but I wanted to mix things up a bit. Well, that and, I really, really wanted to see how he would look in the assassin's outfit. XD Which I did use a loose reference for, but I took a lot of artistic freedom (with all of them, really). That thing on his arm, btw, is called a Katar. Sins generally use one of two weapons: Dual daggers, or dual katars. And Katars are definitely the meaner-looking weapons. I think the outfit and roughish/lone wolf aspect of the assassin does work well for Fakir, though! :D

Blacksmith!Ahiru! ...Honestly, I had NO idea what to have her be. So what I did was ask an RO-playing friend to randomly give me any class off the top of their head, and I decided that whatever they chose, I would draw Ahiru as. And as you can see, they chose blacksmith, even though it doesn't really fit her at all. XD And I fretted over that a bit, but then had an idea while I was talking to Haley - if Ahiru wouldn't make a good blacksmith, she'd sure as hell struggle with those HUGE weapons they care. ...Thus Ahiru's fail with the giant hammer was born! And in all, I thought it turned out pretty cute. Poor girl needs a hand, though. XD;;

Next up was Mytho. I went through a few ideas for him, but ultimately, I chose the class I happen to like best to draw him as. Namely, a priest. As you can probably tell by now, I fail at drawing weapons of any kind, but at least I think the class does suit him somewhat and the outfit worked out better than I thought it would. His mop hair was still a pain, but at least this time it didn't get TOO humungous.

Rue was a no-brainer. I knew what I was going to draw her as before I even finished Fakir. The class is called.... *drumroll* DANCER. har har har. But yes, I think the sensual aspect worked well for Rue (though I almost should have drawn Kraehe instead, perhaps). I also had a lot of fun with the clothes and posing her arms around those see-through shawl things the dancers carry. I think she actually turned out the best of the RO set, perhaps because she just worked too well for this class, and her pose actually cooperated a bit. :D
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. You did see that sorta warning, right? Well...

This is inspired by two things: One: Lilie's RO class, High Wizard, is inspired from an AU of her that appears in one of my DR character's backstories. Two: Femio as a Bard, and serenading her was inspired by Haley's wonderous sentences for this pairing. :D ...And Lilie, being the person she is, has prepared to set the poor boy's hair on fire. XD That said, this one is especially dedicated to Haley. Hehe. You've infected me with the crack once again.
And that's it, folks! I really hope you enjoyed these sketches. And extra special kudos to anyone that actually got through all of these pictures and text. XD; (I'm wordy, I know.)
Thanks for looking at my art! Comments/criticisms/etc are always welcome and greatly appreciated!
