serika_san, I've been drawing Tutu characters from the Tutu Dressing Room ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
tutudressing. For most of them, actually, they were done on the agreement that I would use the artwork for a profile banner for the comm, of which I've finished just recently. :D
This first one ofraven_autor, aka Raven!Autor or "Poindexter" as he's nicknamed in the DR, was actually done by direct request, before the profile banner project was started. XD It was described in play and I illustrated it based on that and some extra questions to the mun.
The quill and parchment are there for a reason, as because of the Raven's blood, he has Spinner powers that canon!Autor can't quite live up to. XP

This next one is ofkaitoduck, or at least her alter ego, White Swan, essentially as a Daisuke!Ahiru/Dark!Tutu dual soul sorta deal from a DNAngel universe. Art was also done by direct request before the project. I designed most of this one although the general idea of the catsuit and some details were specified. Ghetto wings are ghetto because I didn't feel up to drawing epic wings at that point and I finished this drawing, coloring and all, in one day. XDXD;;

This is ofschwanherz, aka Heartless!Ahiru, nicknamed "Sweethearts". She's a part of a set of three other RPers playing a role-switched cast of Knight!Rue (dame_ritter), Raven!Fakir/Prince Nacht (dustere_nacht), and Duck!Mytho (enteprinz), two of whom I also have drawn their characters here. :D
The dress is based off of this reference, and she's holding the duck pillow recognizable from canon as this Ahiru brings it around everywhere. XP The cat next to her is Moon, another constant tagalong of hers in the DR from the movie Whisper of the Heart.

This is ofun_knighted and notso_princely, aka Modern!Fakir and Modern!Mytho, or more conisely, "Bill & Ted" respectively. XDXD They're part of a set of other AU characters from a modern era in Los Angeles, with Ahiru (gonequackerz), Rue (dancingqueenrue), and Autor (biggeekoncampus).
This is based off a scene in the DR where Bill and Ted are playing Jenga in the middle of town, a favorite pasttime of theirs. Bill's (ducky!) boxers are a result of an incident where he gets his clothes sliced off in retribution for a horrible prank he pulled on another denizen of the DR, with Ted as an accomplice, who is wearing a dress because his normal clothes were stolen from him in a similar spirit of just desserts. That the boxers had ducks on them was my idea, but Ted's dress was a direct reference from in play.

This is ofenteprinz, aka Duck!Mytho. He's a part of a set of three other charas (mentioned in schwanherz's description) in a role-switched universe.
The outfit was basically designed by me off the description that his casual wear consists of yellow overalls. The red-orange pendant is the equivalent of Ahiru's in canon, so the brooch is a particular point. The shoes are a parallel to Ahiru's casual wear in canon, with the same design and just with a different base color.

This is ofprincenopants and failure_knight, aka "Myuto" and "Fail Knight". These two are essentially taken from mid-series, more or less at the end of the first season. (In the DR, they are played very much to a Fakir/Mytho interpretation, unlike further parts of the show.) This pretty much illustrates all the times when Mytho has heartlessly gotten himself into trouble, and Fakir has to irritatedly fish him out of it. XD;; Since it's after Fakir's shirt gets ripped up, his outfit is sown together in the places in which it gets ripped, since he's managed to fix it by them. XP

This is oflearntodoit, aka Anyahiru. She is Ahiru from the universe of the film Anastasia, and who also has Dimitri!Fakir justaservantboy who has appeared in the DR, too. Her outfit is pretty much the same pauper's dress that Anya wears in the movie. The cat she's holding is Neko, who is a direct carry-over of Neko-sensei as he appears when he is fully a cat again in the show.

This is ofdame_ritter, aka Knight!Rue. She's a part of a set of three other charas (mentioned in schwanherz's description) in a role switched universe. Since she has no Raven's blood, her eyes are violet instead of red.
Her mun gave me this reference for her armor, and the basic design of the outfit (white thigh-length shirt, brown breeches, boots). The sword itself I had the idea to make it identical to canon Lohengrin's (the knightess in their universe is named Jeanne), just for the increased parallel reference. Also, overall things like the sleeves, bandages, and overall design are meant to parallel Fakir's knight outfit that you can compare on the Fakir above. The boots are red, however, in homage to the red shoes that Rue wears with her practice outfit.

Rabe (although that personal name was only revealed recently in the DR) is from an alternate universe which is a retelling of the Prince and the Raven, in which the two are opposing kingdoms rather than individuals, and in which the latter triumphs. More info on his backstory is on the RP account's journal.
Asma is Rue from another alternate universe in which Rue was kidnapped and given blood not by a raven, but by a Roc, and Asma is her other name instead of Kraehe. Thus, instead of red eyes, Roc's blood gives her blue eyes, and she is associated with gray feathers rather than black. Also, her world has a bit of a Middle-Eastern influence to it (Rocs are from Middle-Eastern lore), as she can conjure up scimitars from Roc feathers.
This one wasn't done by direct request per se; I got some references from Rabe-mun of his outfit once when I was thinking of drawing something else, but when I saw the two getting along so amusingly in the DR I thought it too appropriate to draw these two together (also because it involved two characters I hadn't yet drawn, and I wanted to keep it to drawing each character at most once for the profile). This is a vague reference to a scene in the DR where Asma (as Rue in actuality, so this isn't totally accurate) instructs Rabe on some fighting moves.
(As a note, Asma-mun is also still requesting a mun for Asma's Rocmother.)

This is ofschuchternprinz and reuigprinzessin, aka Superhero!Mytho "Supes" and Supes!Rue (for lack of a better label at present). They are from an alternate universe, also a modern world, but in their case in a town called Goldkrone, in which the main characters, transforming with their powerful alter personas, act as superheroes to save the town they live in from the Shadows that steal the townspeople's hearts.
Actually, Supes is a character for whom I mun, but I got requested to do this by Superue-mun, and considering I'd been drawing so many of others' characters I just jumped at an excuse to finally draw my own. XP The academy they go to is a normal high school, not an art academy like canon, but they wear the same uniforms nonetheless. The black sweatshirt is a modern piece of clothing Rue wore entering the DR. While this was not intended specifically by Rue-mun, their modern clothing worn over the uniforms are visual references to their alter forms, with black being Kraehe's and the purple/gold theme being Prince Siegfried's. ^o^ This is also a reference to the time in the DR when shortly after reuniting, the two are strolling around town, arms linked, as Mytho shows Rue around. ...Did I mention that these two are incredibly adorable, considering they're a Rue/Mytho pair? XD;;
(As a note, Mytho-mun and Rue-mun are requesting a mun for their world's Ahiru, or any other character people are interested in playing.)

With that (I basically posted these in the order I finished them), I set to work on the profile banner itself, and in a couple days came up with this:
I tried to give each character a good amount of image space, especially if they're big presences at the DR. The text in the background are snippets of the stanzas of the song of CLAMP in Wonderland 2 fame, "action!" by Maaya Sakamoto (link including full text of translated lyrics). If you read carefully, there are key lines like "All colors mix together", "A strange tale starts from now", and "it's up to you for the next scene" that are legible in the background. :D The song in general I think matches the spirit of the DR very well (or really, perhaps for any RPG of multiple universes). But even if you can't, it's a nice decoration considering it's for a show where writing becoming real is an integral theme. XD
And oh look, an icon too because people suggested I make one from it XD:
