"Little Shop of Horrors"

tutufansHappy Valentine's Day! I come bearing fanart that has very little to next to nothing to do with the holiday. Well, unless you're an Autor-Rue fan; then I guess there's a little bit of lovey-dovey stuff.
Long story short, last month we had a contest over at Club-Tutu and the theme was Broadway musicals. It took a while to settle on one musical that I could have fun with but still be somewhat recognizable (not to mention an "obvious" one). I eventually settled on Little Shop of Horrors.
Those unfamiliar with the play or movie, Seymour Krelborn works at a rundown florist shop and has a crush on the other assistant, Audrey. Upon finding a strange plant he names Audrey II, his luck starts to turn around. He finds out Audrey II can talk and demands to be fed blood. I decided to have some fun with the casting and had Autor be our hero and Rue be his love interest.
This is the first piece I did, "Somewhere That's Green." Actually, this is the reprise of the song and takes place at the end. As you can see, Audrey II is inspired by the raven flowers from episode 16. Hey, it works, and both are big hams in their respective properties.

The next two are takes on "Feed Me (Get It)." The rough is my first attempt, but didn't really catch get the humor I wanted to go for. I think this is probably about the point in the song where Seymour is becoming more open to Twoie's offers but still refusing.
This is the final one. I wanted humor. So, yeah, here it is.

And just for fun, the rest of my imaginary main cast is as follows:
Mr. Cat as Mr. Mushnik
Ahiru, Pique, and Lilie as Crystal, Ronnette and Chiffon
Fakir as Dr. Orin Scrivello, DDS, aka the Dentist
