Another DA Clubt-Tutu submission

I'm surprising myself with my productivity (in terms of fanart at least :p) lately. XD;; Here's another piece, once again for the DeviantArt Club-Tutu monthly contest. This month's theme is "Settled Down".

Before this contest I didn't plan on drawing Fakir and Ahiru's kids because, well...I had no idea what they'd look like! OTL I didn't make to make them clones of their parents, and short of simply swapping their parents eye and hair colors around, I thought I'd instead try incorporating a little bit of say, Ahiru's hair design into Fakir's while subtracting his pony tail, etc. So in a way, I guess I made their kids gender-bender versions of their parents. ^^;;

In this picture I imagine Fakir and Ahiru taking their kids on a short outing to go see Grandpa Charon. Ahiru is carrying the newest addition to the family, a baby girl, while Fakir has to keep up with his energetic, inquisitive, and easily distracted 5-year old son (guess which parent he took after XD). On their way they're accompanied by a familiar looking cat. I figure by the time Ahiru and Fakir have kids cat!Neko-sensei would be pretty old in cat years, but I think he'd like seeing his former students married and living a happy life together. &hearts Though I realized in hindsight that Neko-sensei's belly is white :x

I've also been bouncing around ideas for Fakir and Ahiru after they're engaged/married, one of which is last year's Secret Santa doujinshi story which...I am very behind on >_>;;. I feel like this fanart is contributing to the solidification of my head canon of Fakir and Ahiru's married life and will probably serve as a nice bookend to the stories I'm planning. :)
