tutufansI was researching outfits in the series for a new pic (non-crack this time lol). I hadn't seen most of Princess Tutu since I first saw it some 5 years ago, so I ended up watching a couple episodes last night in nostalgia and skipped around others looking for nice scenes. I looove the art style HOMG. *total artgasm over here* Some imagery is SO PRETTY, even if nothing is actually happening in that scene. I don't know if there is some great, complete screencap Tutu gallery out there somewhere, but I figured I would share some artsy caps I took that I enjoyed. I tried to make them small enough so they won't take forever to load but big enough to see. ^^
I EFFIN LOVE DROSSELMEYER!!!!!
When we first saw this scene, my sister and I giggled like crazy over the grumpy, seemingly more masculine of the guys prance around in his leotard. It felt embarrassing to watch. It now doesn't bother me. Individually, the frames are VERY VERY pretty!! The layout and figural gesture is amazing. *_* *artnerding again*
RANDOM STUFF:
This scene FREAKS ME THE FUCK OUT. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THAT SHADOW??? Where is the shadow of the table if the shadow hands are completely disconnected from everything, but Fakir's hands are actually resting ON THE TABLE.
Ouch. Fakir doesn't look quite like himself here with those huge eyes.

((I enjoy taking screencaps of characters in between main frames. Sometimes their faces are distorted in order to better express movement within a split second, but if you can catch the frame individually, it LOOKS SO FUNNY BAHAHAHAHA. I'll save that for another day since I already post enough crack as it is. xD; ))
