Fanart: Fakir/Ahiru - Our First Child

Hello, hello~! :D

I come bearing (one of many) fanart that I haven't gotten around to posting.

Warnings: Fakir/Ahiru shipping, but otherwise, sugary-sweet G as you can get.






This was a request from "Babysgirl" on deviant art, who asked for Fakir and Ahiru on the birth of their first child.

I was playing Mother 3 while I drew this, so I was already very strongly immersed into the "Family" theme. That really helped bring this a long way with the emotion factor, I think. :3 (This was my musical inspiration while drawing, if anyone was wondering: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fax72hPuoEw)

If you're wondering... Ahiru is still wearing her hospital gown. And for once, the tears in Fakir's shirt are not his own doing. It's fresh. ...Let's just say that Ahiru's time in labor wasn't particularly easy for her, and one of the things she took it out on was Fakir's shirt. XDDD

Anyway, as per my head-canon of kids for them, that would be the birth of their first baby girl, Dafne/Daphne. I really, really enjoyed drawing overall it and I really channeled that warm feeling of a family as well as I could manage. I hope you can feel it in this, too. <3
