Well, I'm leaving early tomorrow morning for Austin, and the joys of Princess Tutu!
If you have sent in art and NOT received an e-mail or deviant art note (for those of you on that site) with confirmation from me, then your art has not arrived.
For those of you that DID contribute to the scrapbook, during the Tutu event (as I'm now acting as moderator for the event) I will address the guests and notify them that the fan community got together to put something special together for them, at this time gifts will be distributed, and I will then call out to the audience and ask those who contributed a gift, letter, photo or fanart for the cause to stand and be recognized as one of the "gifters." If you are bringing your own goodies with you, please try to catch me before the start of the event, so I can coordinate you in with the gift giving, that way it all happens at once, and will hopefully give us more time for other things during the Tutu Cast Party. For people physically present who did contribute, or are bringing gifts, I'd like for you to try to come meet me before the event, if anyone is to shy and doesn't what to be put on the spot, that's fine, but I really would like those that contributed to be recognized.
I'm kinda hard to miss, short dark brown hair, about 5'7, and let's just say I could afford to lose ALOT of weight. ^^; I'm not sure yet what I'll be wearing, but I'll definitely be in some sort of pink! I'll also make sure to show up at least 15 minutes before the event at the event location, so I'll be visibly there so you can try to catch up with me.
As things stand I had over 30 people say they were sending in art who flaked on me after DEFINITELY committing (I'm not counting the 15 or so folks who said they MIGHT be), I have 1 confirmed, and 2 suspected pieces of mail with contributions MIA (missing in action in the mail).
I have contributions from around 20 people that arrived safely, 2 from foreign countries (Canada & England), that are in the scrapbook, or included among the gift bags for the guests.
If a miracle occurs and those MIA art pieces show up today, I'll do my utmost to try to incorporate them into the scrapbook, but at so late a date I can make no guarantee outside that if they show today they will be delivered to their intended recipient.
