Onoz! Major sketch post! ( 10 sketches (techinically 9))

Yeah. I most certainly haven't been dead. My art muse has been going like mad. XD;; I've just been posting most of these things periodically in my own journal, but I'm trying not to be a post whore here, so I'll do these in big batches every now and then. ^^;

So, I have 10 sketches for you. There were a couple more in my journal, but those are PG-13 and I'm not posting them here. XD;;;  There's actually 9, but I included a link to where I photoshop-ed two of the sketches together to see how they'd look side by side.

Anyway, no real warnings. These are PG-ish and nothing to worry about. Image-heavy post though, so you're aware. ^^;;

First up, I'll get my two Poly sketches out of the way (Poly is an LJ roleplay I'm a part of that you might recall an art piece from in a previous post of mine awhile back).

This one is a crack piece, from a curse day we had called "Fairytale Day" (it was a weekend, actually). For Poly's Fairytale Curse day, we really warped A Midsummer Night's Dream into a new version...First of all, to fit the theme itself, they all became Princes/Princesses/Knights/Faeries/etc. XD And we had a plot and everything worked out. It would have been fun to log...

The line-up is as follows: From left to right: Bottom the Clumsy Knight (Autor), Princess Helena (Rue), Prince Demetrius (Mytho), Prince Lysander (Fakir) and Princess Hermia (Ahiru). Don't try to make sense of it...cause you won't be able to. XD;;; They're basically chasing each other around in the forest.




And now for another Poly piece. <3 This one is based off of something that went on in Poly recently. Namely, Fakir was inflicted with something that was actually not a curse...and the result has left him as a chibi version of himself. XD Approximately six inches tall and as intolerant and lacking in patience as always (he smashed Autor's glasses, too). He and Ahiru are...not exactly on good terms at the moment, because he did something very stupid on a curse day. XD; Rue suggested he get Ahiru flowers or something as an apology, but when Ahiru found out Fakir got the flowers because Rue told him to, she got upset all over again. XD;;;

SO, chibi-Fakir decided to go out back of the Opera Abandoned and saw a flower growing all by itself near the fountain. He decided to pick it and give it to Ahiru in apology for the last flower mistake. But despite Fakir's cuteness and good intentions, what he said was this:  "Here. I saw it in the courtyard out back of the Opera House near the fountain. A stubborn, moronic flower blooming somewhere it shouldn't have been. It reminded me of you." XDDD Thankfully she didn't take it too badly. It was still fun, nonetheless. (If you're actually reading through all this, kudos to you. XD; This post is huge)




Next up is something that was a request for me to draw and has since then tainted my muse like you wouldn't believe from Haley and Kris ( haleysings and astrobright68 ). That request, was to draw Fakir in raven clothing of some sort. (Think Evil!Mytho and you're on the right track) XD  So...Here is Raven!Fakir (you might recognize him from my icon, too. XD)

....XD;;;; I know the pants look wonky with the lopsided belt, but oh well. As you can easily tell, I had far too much fun with the clothing folds and practically overdid them everywhere. ^^;;; And the first thing that struck me as Raven!Fakir's weapon was a rapier, so that's what he has. As for where the cloak and feathers are across his chest, just so you know: the feathers don't attach to the cloak even though it kind of looks like it. XD; They're on the clothing underneath. I didn't shade the whole pic in, because almost all of it would have been black or dark colors. I may possibly color it a later date (who knows?). I suck at outfit creation, but I did what I could. I did think of giving him some kind of headgear, but the volume of his huge hair makes everything look so wonky! And I didn't like the little crown thing, so I skipped that too. XD; Oh well.




...And then Haley had to go and further mention to me that she wondered what Raven!Ahiru would look like....... XD

........I had SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS. XD I think she might give Kraehe a run for her money! LOL. I love playing with Ahiru's hair, so I wanted to make her all seductive-looking and decided on long with very big curls all over. :D And her outfit started out less...revealing, and somehow finally ended up like this. XD And yes, she battles with her fan of dooooom! (As for the form as a whole? I've seen raven/dark!Tutu before, but no one's tried to make Ahiru into an older ebil version XD )

I'm so happy with how this turned out, honestly. XD I think she'd make a really cool Raven-esque evil-doer. XD And she'd got the slanted eyes, too! 



And when I looked at the two pictures above, I noticed they were actually kind of similar, even though I didn't draw them together. Soo...I decided to play with Photoshop and size them to fit one another and....They actually look like they're posing together. XDDD I did a rushed color version that looks like it does in my icon, but I won't post that here. It's on my deviantart if you want to see it.

Now for something very fun. XD.... In my weekly "mun challenge" this week, I was given a sketch prompt. That prompt was "Cooking". But since my drabble/fic theme for this week is "Baking", I just decided to put them together. XDDD

....Yes, they are fighting over a spoon. XD;;;; Basically, in the drabble, Ahiru is going to make one hell of a mess trying to bake (they went to visit Rue and Mytho -- which is the reason Ahiru is wearing a kind of fancy dress). Fakir is going to get fed up with Ahiru's lack of baking skill and demand she let him do it instead. XD; Annnnd basically it'll end up somewhat like this picture. Ahiru will insist on doing it herself and they'll make a big mess of each other fighting over the wooden stirring spoon. I love Fakir/Ahiru conflict XDD

As for the picture itself - yes, Ahiru is stepping on his foot, smooshing a hand into his face, and he's trying to pull the spoon away while the other hand tugs on her braid. XD; And Ahiru actually sort of looks like she's almost doing some sort of ballet-esque pose here. XD;  I understand that some of the posing looks weird, but eh, it's a sketch. XD; I did what I could to get the scene to come out the way I wanted and I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks to Kris for pointing out he has something wonky going on with his left foot! I hate hands and feet. XD;;




And now for something that's sure to make you go "o_O". XDD I drew Autor and Pique. ...Yeah, you heard me right. XD;;;

It's of an older-looking Autor and Pique -- I wanted to see how they'd look from an artistic standpoint. Yes, I put Pique's hair down and gave her a headband, because I like her hair down better than when it's up. XD;;; I know something might look kind of odd with Autor's right arm/hand too, but I hope it doesn't look too strange. XD;; And yes, Pique appears to be very, very happy. And Autor...smug-smiling. XD hee~ I think they kind of compliment each other, though. It was only my second time drawing Autor and first time drawing Pique, so.... ^^;;; Yeah. Haley and I RP them on Poly too, and it's pretty fun. Their interactions are actually quite fun.




And now for the chibi madness! :D First up, is Mytho and Rue. Just some simple posing. ^^ I had lots of fun drawing Rue here, for some reason. And I thought Mytho's expression was kind of cute. XD I still hate drawing his hair, though. MOP HEAD.




And next is a fun Fakir/Ahiru one. XD I was going to do a non-chibi version of this, but I like how it turned out with them as chibis, so I might leave it at this. XDDD Fakir likely said something rude/nasty/irritating, and Ahiru is taking matters into her own hands. XD (Or feet, rather). Yes, those are Fakir's books falling from his arms. XDDD




Annnnd....finally, just for the heck of it, I drew chibi-Raven!Fakir and chibi-Raven!Ahiru dancing. XDDD I was going to do a full-sized picture of them, but I was in the mood to draw chibis, so I went with it. XD;; I know the posing might be kind of weird (particularly Fakir's), since I suck hardcore a ballet poses and the like, but I hope it doesn't look too bad. Why yes, I think they are quite enjoying themselves. XD




That's it, for now. ^^ When I've drawn another healthy amount or done a CG or something, I may post them in the future.
