fanfic question

tutufansI can't remember if I've posted about this before or not, so here goes:
I'm working on a multi-chapter Princess Tutu fic about the battle between the Prince and the Monster Raven in Drosselmeyer's story. So far I have only got the prologue completed, and the prologue consists of only original characters (no Mary Sues, I promise! ^_^) If I were to post the prologue on fanfiction.net, would anybody be interested in reading it if it had only OC's? Or would you prefer I wait til I've finished the first chapter, which introduces the familiar canon characters, even though it might be a while...?
I'm just trying to get some opinions, so I don't end up posting and then nobody reads and then I end up discouraged... ^_~
