Tutu on TV

For most of the people here, this probably isn't nearly as exciting as the announcement of the cast for the ADV DVDs, but...

Yesterday I saw a commercial on the cable anime channel, Animax Asia, that announced their new shows premiering in September. One of them was Princess Tutu.

I can't describe how ecstatic this makes me. Yes, it's only in Southeast Asia, and yes, I've already watched the fansubs a billion times, and yes, Animax now has rather goofy English dubbing for all their shows. But just the fact that it's showing on TV here means that I will no longer be the only person I know who's even heard of the series! Maybe I can finally get the people in our local comic/manga store to order the Princess Tutu guidebooks without them looking at me funny and mumbling some noncommittal answer! Er, and maybe some new growth for this tiny little fandom, more people posting discussion, fanfic, fanart, etc. etc. ^^
