Happy Valentine's Day! I come bearing fanart that has very little to next to nothing to do with the holiday. Well, unless you're an Autor-Rue fan; then I guess there's a little bit of lovey-dovey stuff.
Long story short, last month we had a contest over at Club-Tutu and the theme was Broadway musicals. It took a while to settle on one musical that I could have fun with but still be somewhat recognizable (not to mention an "obvious" one). I eventually settled on Little Shop of Horrors.
( More details and images behind cut. )

Hey there everybody.
So, I was rewatching the Fakir/Ahiru dance scene towards the end of the series (the english dub one, actually, and it wasn't that bad) tonight, and though I have seen and heard it countless times, something changed and made this particular view extra special. Right as Fakir pledged his loyalty and eternal friendship to Ahiru, something warmed my eyes and before I knew it, I was actually crying. Crying, because of an anime! How silly, I thought as I wiped them away...
...But then I realized it wasn't silly at all... because that scene is pretty much the dead giveaway of the series conclusion, in which Ahiru isn't chosen by Mytho and she spends the rest of her life as a duck. I'm sure nearly all of us wanted to see her stay a human with her friendsand eventually makeout with Fakir, so for that confirmation of Ahiru's fate to be given in such a romantic way? My tears became justified, and I was happy to shed them.
I come to the Ptutu comm, now, to ask a question - have any of you, like me, experienced a moment during Princess Tutu where you may have cried or just been extremely inspired?
