Clearly everyone loves the Princess Tutu series. The story, the atmosphere, the characters, the themes. I'm going to ask for something that may be hard to answer. No, not your favorite episode.
What is your turning point episode?
What I mean is, is there an episode that marked some sort of turning point in how you viewed some aspect of the show? It can be anything. It can be at an episode where you changed your mind about a certain character; where something just made you fall in love with the series. Anything!
For me, it would have to be ep. 22, "Crown of Stone." Why? You get the first real hint of outside dangers, something other than Drosselmeyer and the Raven, and how dangerous the story has started to become. But the core reason: I finally sympathize with Mytho. To be honest, up until that episode, I didn't really care for him. He hadn't undergone as much development as the others. In this episode, I got a real good look at his psyche. This guy is in pain, and he got my respect for trying to control it. I understood his love for everything, how the raven's blood was tearing him up inside. What clenched it for me was how he said he had to act as "a prideful prince."
