tutufansOkay, I'm usually the last to figure these things out, so if this isn't new to you, you have permission to point and laugh, and say, "I already knew that!"
But anyway....I have always been amazed at the symbolism in Princess Tutu, and have actually just sat there trying to figure it all out before. However, I could never figure out why Fakir's name was from a completely different part of the world than everyone else's--it just didn't fit in anywhere. But now I have--he's Scheherezade, who kept herself alive by telling stories. It was because I spent forever trying to find out where the music in the last (?) episode of the first season was from (it plays while they're going down the the Lake of Despair), and I finally saw Scheherezade for the first time, and it clicked in my mind.
So yeah...um....I think that this might actually be the first time I posted here, too. Unfortunately, I'm a notorious lurker.
