tutufansHi everyone! I just created a new community: <lj user="tutu_monthly"> . Basically it's a Princess Tutu themed writing challenge. I'm pasting the info here so you can get an idea of what it's about.
Hello and welcome to the Princess Tutu Monthly Fanfiction Challenge! This is a community for fanfiction writers (and readers, but don't hesitate to participate!) of Ikuko Itoh's beautiful creation Princess Tutu. The idea for this community came from <lj user="sm_monthly">[Unknown site tag], and I hope they don't mind me borrowing their format, but it's too awesome an idea not to use. The basic set is as follows: each month has an overlying theme (Fakir, OTP, Crack Fic, ect.) that the community votes on. Each day a mod will post a theme to go with it (chocolate, apples, quotes, lyrics, images, ect.). The first fifteen themes are mandatory, but the last half of the month you can write about whatever you wish (so long as it relates to the monthly theme). However, there will still be daily themes posted that you may use if you need prompts. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO WRITE FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH. Do as many or as few of the themes as you want (or have the time for). If you do complete all the themes for the month, you will get a banner and a spot in the Hall of Fame.
We need more PT fanfiction and I think this would be a great way to get people involved. I want to start in September, but I need a little help. I think it would be really cool if the layout for each month reflected the theme, so is there anyone who is good at that sort of thing who would be interested? I'm thinking Fakir for the first month, but if you guys would rather something else I can set up a poll. Please join, I know there isn't a lot there right now, but it will be awesome, especially if we get a lot of participation!
