Seven Princess Tutu Fanart Sketches

For some odd reason, my drawing muse bit me HARD the other day after work and I couldn't stop sketching until like, 4AM. So naturally, I took advantage of it and just let the stuff floooooooooooowwwww~!

That said, I'm about to spam you with seven fanart sketches, all Princess Tutu related, naturally. And there are some Fakir/Ahiru related sketches under that cut so uh, just so you know! D: (And yes, for those of you that saw these on my journal already, there actually were originally 9 sketches - I decided not to post two of them that I didn't really like. lol But I posted the rest thanks to encouragement from Kris, as she is very persuasive. XD; Blame her! J/k )

SO. What is there to see, basically? Well, lots of Raven!Fakir both alone and with Ahiru, something inspired by a scene in Labyrinth, a picture which actually has a background for once, Rue/Kraehe identity mix, drunk!Fakir and duck!Ahiru, and freakish little cute chibis of the main four characters!

...Scared yet?



This is shamelessly inspired by THIS scene from Labyrinth! :D (I'll try not to be too TL;DR with the sketches, dun worry. >>;;) These are just plain sketches, so they have lots of things wrong with them and are very messy, as I'm sure you can tell! XD; Anyway, the masks are fail, but I loved the concept of a Masquerade and I love an excuse to put their hair down. Also? That be Raven!Fakir there, folks. Watching Labyrinth again made me want to draw lots of Raven!Fakir.



*GASP* Yes folks, that IS a background. Amazing, huh? You might have noticed by now that I didn't shade any of these drawings in. That's because I may or may not do more with them in the future. Anyway, the concept for this was Raven!Fakir trashing a throne room. (Don't ask. XD;) And it's probably hard to tell, but he's spilling wine on the floor and that's a broken mirror in the background. Unfortunately, my proportions and such were off, so he looks a little short in this. >>;



Here's Rue/Kraehe looking very mature and older and... not much like herself. >>;; I kind of wanted a split concept, so you can see one side is clearly different from the other. (For example, one hand has a glove, the other does not, obvious hair and clothing changes. Yeah. And she's intentionally blocking the other part of her face.



This was a really random embracing concept of Raven!Fakir and Ahiru. I really like how it turned out, actually. I thought the hands would look atrocious, but I'm generally pretty happy with them in this. And the expressions I think help add to the feel of the picture. I will likely do more with this (such as pen and coloring).





And then I randomly wanted to do a portrait type of thing, just featuring the face for the most part. ...Yes, it's Raven!Fakir again. >>;;; This is probably one of my least favorite of the sketches, actually. Idk. I just don't really like how it turned out. XD; I like his hair but...not his face. :/ Something seems mis-aligned there. I think it's in the eyes.



...Drunk!Fakir. Yes. He's looking at a story he wrote while intoxicated (likely about Ahiru XD) and probably rambling some nonsense about it with slurred speech. His pose was very...odd. I'm not sure he CAN still be standing like that at this point, so he's probably about to tumble. XD It doesn't show well, but the desk is a little lifted due to his weight and duck!Ahiru is trying to prevent that alcoholic junk from crashing to the floor. lulz. And yes, those are ink marks on his arm and clothing.



Last but not least, random screwy little chub-kin chibis. XDDD Pantsless!Mytho holding a bird and looking blank, Rue with an air of sophisitication and pride, Ahiru being cheerful, and Fakir looking like he wants to kill the viewer. :D
