Guess who was in my Music History book?

Apologies if this has been brought up before/is common knowledge, but I didn't see it searching the tags and I had to share.

I've been having an interesting time in Music History the last few weeks, as every time we start discussing a composer featured in Princess Tutu or, in some cases, the actual pieces, I keep getting the giggles and/or being fangirly. And drawing stick figures on my outlines.

Today we starting the 20th century unit and one of the first people we talked about was Debussy, who had a few songs in the series, probably most notably the "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" in episode 17 (the one with Femio). Our teacher showed us a video of people performing it, probably wondering why I was snickering once again.

But then we turned to the book as she was explaining what the piece was about, and was telling us there was a picture of the Faun's original outfit for the ballet version. And I seriously nearly choked when I saw it.




And now I know where that outfit came from XDDD
