I finished all 10 fanart commissioned last week a lot faster than I expected. XD I was originally going to post just the sketches but after I drew the first picture, like it, and inked it, I ended up doing the same for everyone else. I also screen toned some of the pictures because some of them looked more complete that way. Now, onto the pictures!

This one is for smilingbomb who asked for Autor in Edwardian clothing. This was the picture that conspired me to ink all the other fanart because I thought this image would look really nice if it was inked. I think Autor looks unusually - dare I say it - dashing, like he's a young master from a well-to-do family attending Cambridge. XD;;

This is for blacksheep91 in which she requested for Pique bugging Autor while he's trying to study. I imagined the premise (and I discover I do this for everyone of my images, because making up a story to go with the picture makes it even more fun to work with) to be something like this: Autor is trying to work on his music assignment in the library. Pique tries to help him by suggesting he use some stuff she's found, to which Autor indignantly tells her he can do his own research and to leave him alone so he can actually get some work done.

This last one of Autor is for serraduchi. She asked for Autor studying under the light of a candle stub. I think Autor would actually study his music assignments under a candle light (despite the fact that there are oil lamps available as we saw in the show) because that's what Drosselmeyer did in his days, and without any regards to his already myopic vision. @_@

To shift gears a little, here's a cute chibi drawing of Kraehe and Tutu dancing a pas de deux, done for y0te. This was one of the pictures that had to get screen toned because it just wouldn't look quite right without the little flower tones in the background. &hearts

web_of requested a Kraehe/Prince Mytho picture, and contrial requested a post series Mytho/Rue picture. That gave me the idea to make the two into a pair. This first one reflects the relationship between Princess Kraehe and Prince Siegfried according to "The Prince and the Raven". The motif in the back is of a jonquil, which means "desire for a returned affection", a pretty accurate description of what Kraehe desired from the prince. I also tried to draw on a bit of art nouveau style in the picture, mostly because I like the way the curls in Kraehe's hair looked that way. XD;;

And this is the mate to the one above. When contrail asked for post series Rue and Mytho I thought the standard picture of them in their costumes as prince and princess is a bit over doneor maybe it's just me, since I think I've done a few pictures with them dressed like that already. Instead I drew them in the ballet costume you see them in in the epilogue portion of the anime. In this case the flower motif is the lily of the valley, which has the well-known meaning of "happiness".

Now for something totally different from everything else I've done so far! lionofjudah163 requested a picture of the main cast dressed in fashion (evening gowns, pinstripe suits, fedoras) from the roaring 20's, standing by a bar in a speakeasy. I had a hard time figuring how to draw a speakeasy (which shouldn't have been that hard! Dx) but I ended up changing the picture. OTL Instead I cast the characters as figures from a prohibition era crime drama and threw in a bit of art deco to the border designs. XD;;; The story goes (as it did in my head when I drew this) that Mytho (think evil!Mytho) is a gangster running a large illegal firearms, bootlegging, and racketeering business in a district of a major city. His girlfriend Rue, who is a famous actress, also has connections to the underworld through her father, the godfather Don Corvo of the Corvo family. Duck (I used her English name because to me it makes more sense using an English or Italian name if you're gonna be talking about a mobster story), who recently immigrated to the city, works as a shop girl in a small mom-and-pop store. She unexpectedly witness a hit carried out by the Corvo mob but for unexplained reasons was spared by Mytho. She ends up under witness protection from the police for what she saw. The person who's charged with protecting her is Fakir, a junior detective in the metropolitan police whose goal is to break up the Corvo mob. He has a personal reason for wanting to break up the mob as they were responsible for the death of his parents. Later when he learns that Mytho - his childhood best friend - had joined the mob, he is determined to get him out even while Rue and her family tries to get rid of both Fakir and Duck.

And now for another complete change of pace. XD;; The idea for this picture was from tigtogtiffy, who wanted to see Fakir faint because Ahiru accidentally wore something sexy, while Mytho remains clueless and Rue's smiling bemusedly. I twisted that idea around a bit, and instead of it being "accidental" it was very much "planned". I was thinking that Mytho and Rue have invited Fakir and Ahiru to a party in their kingdom but Ahiru feels insecure about her appearance, that she's unattractive compared to all the other female guests and is secretly worried Fakir would think the same. Rue decides to get Ahiru a gown that will not only shut Fakir up, but leave everyone else stunned when she steps out into the ballroom. And so once they were done prepping up, Rue sends Ahiru downstairs first. Mytho, being the somewhat oblivious prince he is, doesn't even notice Fakir is about to have a heart attack from seeing Ahiru in such a sensual outfit, and compliments her by comparing her to "a freshly plucked flower", at which Fakir couldn't handle it any more and passes out. XD I made the characters look older here, mostly because it wouldn't really make sense to put Ahiru in that kind of dress if she hasn't developed the body to fill it out.

This one is for serika_san who wanted some cute Fakiru, like them sharing a milkshake. I always wanted to try drawing the characters in modern clothing and thought this could be a good opportunity. So instead of milkshake, my modern day Fakir and Ahiru are sharing frozen yogurt sprinkled with assorted toppings (for people who live on the West Coast and New York you'll know what I'm talking about). Ahiru is stealing a spoon full of Fakir's yogurt because she wants to see what his tasted like (I think Fakir's choice of yogurt toppings would be a bit healthier than Ahiru's). And if you're wondering about Ahiru's T-shirt, it's an old joke between my best friend and I in which should our conversation turn to FakirxAhiru she would yell, "And they have ducky babies!!" and I would proceed to facepalm. ^^;;

Last but not least, the picture for haleysings! She requested Fakir and Raetsel as kids, or Raetsel doing something that embarrasses Fakir. I decided to put the two together and this was what I got. Raetsel comes back to visit and after dinner starts recounting embarrassing stories from Fakir's childhood, in this instance when he wet his bed but was too scared to tell Charon and instead ran to Raetsel with the said bedding in hand. I was giggling the entire time I was drawing this and I just kept thinking, "I'm sorry Fakir! But this is too funny!" I thought about including Ahiru in the picture as well, but then Fakir was embarrassed enough as it is, and to have Raetsel tell Ahiru something that embarrassing I imagine he'd just turn and run (I also think this is one of those things that your family would only tell your fiancee since you're gonna get married and find out other embarrassing things about each other anyway).
