Hey there y'all - back with another discussion question...
As a junior in high school, I've been preparing to take my SATs in March for quite some time now. I have been taking a class at our local tutoring agency since December in the hope of picking up some tips to benefit me during the test, and during this class, we take about five practice tests in preparation.oh my god Meaghan this is so boring I'm getting to the Tutu part, I swear. XD This past Saturday, we focused on the essay, and the practice question they gave was "Should we settle with what we are given in life, or should we always strive to achieve something more or unexpected of us?" We have learned so far that an ideal essay would have three examples - a personal experience, a piece of literature/television/movies/media, and an event in history - to help us come up with our point of view.
And guess what "media" I used in my essay?
...I wrote about Fakir, and the fact that he, upon joining forces with Ahiru, defied his fate and ended up surviving past his written death wish, therefore achieving life, which was originally not promised to him.
And ended up getting the highest score in our class.
...SO MY QUESTION TO YOU, DEAR TUTU COMMUNITY, IS...
how geeky do you REALLY think I am????
...Have you ever written about Tutu/done a project on Tutu or any element of it for school/work/etcetera?
