Answer: I got jaded/pissed off at fandom/life in general for some time, got involved in a new RP and made new friends who've revitalized my interest, and decided to give being involved another chance. If I was a tool to any of you lot (you know who you are, guys :C ) over summer, I apologize. It was a really tough time for me IRL, and I had no tolerance for online shenanigans.
Question: Who missed me?
Answer: Nobody, ever.
Question: Sic, get to the point. What's this post about?
Answer: I'd been considering a post like this for a while. In a nutshell, I'm curious to see what other pairings (besides the obvious) that people in the fandom genuinely like. Sort of get a cross-section of what people like besides Fakiru. Which is a fine pairing, but sort of saturates the comm to the point where it can seem that that's all we discuss/create for. This will also hopefully provide people with a way of fangirl/boying en mass and maybe finding out that people they thought only shipped Autor/Fakir ship Rue/Mytho, too. Sort of a 'getting to know you' type thing, but with underexposed pairings.
Start a thread for the ship you wanna discuss using the code below. If the post already has a bunch of threads, make sure there isn't one already. For easy browsing, you might wanna put the pairing in the subject line.
It's totally cool if one person makes more than one thread, but don't go nutso!
Reply to other threads with, well, whatever. Why you like the pairing, what you're doing/considering doing fanworks-wise. Recommend stuff, just say hey.
Don't be argumentative if you disagree with someone's pairing choice. This is an appreciation activity, not a debate.
To rephrase the above: Just don't be a jerk. We're all grown ups and can infer what this means, and I don't think anybody wants to start a fight when we're just trying to have fun.
