PT AMV Character/Pairing/General Song Lists

Okay. So being the obsessed nut that I am with this series, I thought I'd open another door to creativity (since drawing, writing, and icon-making have all been hit by me already) and perhaps try my hand at attempting to make AMVs (Anime Music Videos, for those of you that are not familiar with the term).

I haven't actually started any AMVs yet. I found a few tutorials and I have to see how I'm going to manage to rip the stuff I need from all of my DVDs (yeah, I waited for the entire series so I could have good and non-subtitled footage to use). But I do plan to get this in the works alongside the rest of my fandom love for this series.

So that winds down to the topic of this post: Lyrical Music

I have a few songs picked out that I'd like to try, which I will list here along with which characters/pairings I thought I might use them for, and if you could, please offer any feedback you might have on the matter.  However, I have a limited source of music to use (which mostly consists of various instrumentals and musical themes without words), and I'm not that familiar with most popular music.

But what I really need your help with (anyone who can spare the time and thought to the cause), is more songs to use. I have a few, as I mentioned, but I want to get a lot ot work with and pick through the ones that really fit for certain characters, pairings, or the series in general. I am looking mostly for songs with lyrics, though I will take instrumentals into account as well (this is mainly because I really want to match clips with words and themes).

If anyone could take out the time to offer their opinions and suggestions on the matter, I'd be very grateful. ^^ If possible, please include links to lyrics to any songs you suggest, since I most likely won't be familar with much. And if you actually have the music itself and want to share or can point in the direction of where to get said song, that's even better.

General Series Song Hopefuls:

Within Temptation - Forsaken

(Why I chose this song: I think it illustrates a worded-feel to the darker side of PT, and the recurring theme of "losing" against fate in general.)

Silent Lucidity by Queensryche

(Why I chose this song: As the "light" to the darker side, so to speak, this one speaks of dreams ((which is another sort of re-occuring theme throughout the series)), and how each of the characters helps and strengthens each other, forming various bonds throughout the course of the show. And the whole thing about "dream control" made me think of Fakir and Ahiru making their own fates, instead of being guided by their set ones.)

(Why I chose this song: I thought it had a very surreal effect that could be half-told with dancing and various scenes in the series. There were also some lines that really struck me with certain images/scenes I could use.)

Within Tempation - The Swan Song (Instrumental) <--- This one is just a vague possibility. The music would definitely fit the series in general, I think, even without words.

Ahiru Character Song Hopefuls: (None, as of yet)

Ahiru x Mytho Song Hopefuls:

Evanescence - Going Under

(Why I chose this song: Arguably, though this could also fit for Mytho x Rue, I noticed the majority of MythoxAhiru videos around (aside from a choice few) are generally very light-hearted and happy. I wanted something that focussed more on Ahiru's one-sided and selfless love for the Prince. I thought this song seemed to illustrate that pretty well. You're welcome to disagree.)

Fakir Character Song Hopefuls: (None, yet. He's especially difficult to find a fitting song for, with his complex character that changes throughout the series.)

Fakir x Ahiru Song Hopefuls:

Within Temptation - See Who I Am

(Why I chose this song: Surprisingly, I haven't found a romantic-type song for them yet (that hasn't already been done), though I do intend to do one, for certain. :P Anyway, I thought this piece really struck me on the bond between them that grows as they get to know each other, overcome their fears, and become one another's strength. I really, really thought this song suited them, especially the chorus lines. I also thought the reoccuring line of ,"This is not the end" was fitting. Likewise,  "Their reign" made me think in context to Drosselmeyer.)

Mytho Character Song Hopefuls:

Within Tempation - Pale

(Why I chose this song: Mytho is another who was hard to find a song befitting (aside from the wonderful use of "Bring me to Life", which has already been used more than once), but some parts of this song really made me think in context to his character, particularly the "fighting" bits, which I thought in relation to his fight against both the Raven and the Raven's Blood. And the last bit made me think of how he came to see Rue at the end of the series.)

Rue Character Song Hopefuls:

Within Temptation - It's the Fear

(Why I chose this song: Honestly, I think it fits the Rue/Kraehe thing very nicely. She's fighting not to remember what she wants to forget, but she can't keep denying it. I'd also possibly thought of using this for Evil/Dark Mytho, but somehow I think it suits Rue more. You're welcome to leave your opinion.)

Mytho x Rue Song Hopefuls: (None at present time. Though I did like "Shukumei - Destiny", I could not find translated lyrics for it, and I only have the song in Japanese. It's a pretty duet, though.)

Possible Song without a set character/placing so far:

(Why I chose this song: This song just seemed to have too many possibilites, that I wasn't sure where or who it would be best to use it for. I thought of using it as an Ahiru/Tutu song, A Fakir song, and a General song. I'm uncertain as to where it would fit best. I was, however, definitely starting to lean more toward it being an Ahiru/Tutu song, since a lot of it seemed to really fit what she stood for and her determination. Any opinions would be helpful.)

That concludes what I have found on my own, at this point. I've been putting a lot of time into listening to these songs and seeking out more. I really want to do this project. And I would appreciate any feedback on the songs listed, if you think they do or don't suit each character/pairing or the series in general. 

I would also be most grateful for some lyrical song help on those that do not yet have any or many songs, as well as anything else you can come up with.
