val-tyr.livejournal.comI've been rather busy with reality for the past few months, but the biggest stumbling block in getting this chapter finished was its spontaneous destruction. My laptop fried itself, Dropbox didn't sync in time, and I lost over 2,000 words of the story. I was only recently able to come back to an empty document and re-create what i'd tried to finish all the way back in April. I promise you won't wait this long again.
I had planned to post this with some extra materials, namely an e-book format copy of the first six chapters, and an FST, but with a hurricane staring me right in the junk I'm afraid that tonight might be my last chance to post it at all this week. So, here you go.

swanreaper and I were talking about how the pics of Neko-Sensei/Fakir shipping should be hung in the Smithsonian, right next to the Colbert image by the bathrooms. Swanreaper: "...then Fakir can get there quickly if he breaks free of this artistic medium, too. He seems to need it. xD"
I HAD TO DRAW THIS. With Mytho, the only one who would be in the male bathrooms with Fakir to hold his hair back.

Notes: This was going to be twice as longer but, I decided to cut the chapter short(er) since I thought it was getting a bit too long. So, I suppose that this means it's going to be even longer than I imagined. Anyway, this is- if the first chapter is any indication- getting somewhat darker. I'd like for everyone to keep in mind that I'm doing my best to recpature what might have happened before Mytho shattered his heart to seal the raven away. So, each of the character's actions and development does have purpose. Also, the translation of the title, if anyone hasn't figured it out yet, is Latin for "Give me your heart." A very prevalent theme in season two.

This is the result of much boredom and loads of free time today. But, I'm actually quite proud of this. I think that this is one of my better trailers as far as effects and lip-syncing goes.

Notes: Well, this was a little thing I was doing for fun. It was supposed to be short, just a blurb maybe. But then it got longer. Now, it shall have to be more than one chapter long. *sigh* This takes place in an ideal story-land world that Drosselmeyer might have created for Prince Siegfriend. This also features Lohengrin, his first knight, and Princess Tutu and Rue, in their counterpart storybook selves that I've come up. There are various references to The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, mainly names. The book The Other Boleyn Girl was quite an influence in writing this as well.
